Um dies besser beurteilen zu können, wird im Folgenden zunächst dem Gedankengang von Nieke (2000) gefolgt, welcher fünf Schritte der Entwicklung bis zur heutigen shape der Inter-kulturellen Erziehung und Bildung ausmacht. Im weiteren Verlauf dieser Ausarbeitung wird dann versucht werden, die derzeit im Zusammenhang mit Interkulturellem Lernen gebräuch-lichsten Begrifflichkeiten trennscharf voneinander abzugrenzen.
